To obtain a single-entry tourist visa for Uganda, you will be required to provide the following documents:
A photocopy of your valid passport
A recent personal photograph
A copy of your yellow fever vaccination card
An active email address for receiving the approved visa
A valid bank card for payment
For the transit visa, in addition to the above requirements, you will also need to submit:
Evidence of your final destination
A letter detailing the purpose of your stopover
A travel itinerary
If you are applying for a multiple-entry tourist visa, you will need the following additional documentation:
A certificate of good behavior
Letters of recommendation from two sponsors
An explanatory letter outlining the purpose of your multiple stays
Records of your arrivals and departures in Uganda during the previous year (if applicable)
For the East African visa, along with the single-entry tourist visa documents, you will be asked to provide:
A detailed travel itinerary
Confirmation of your accommodation
Proof of return flights
