Visa Requirements for Uganda

To apply for a Uganda visa online, ensure you have the following documents ready based on the type of visa you need:

Single-Entry Tourist Visa

  1. A Photocopy of Your Valid Passport: Ensure it is valid for at least six months from your intended date of entry into Uganda.
  2. A Recent Personal Photograph: A clear passport-sized photo.
  3. A Copy of Your Yellow Fever Vaccination Card: Proof of vaccination is required.
  4. An Active Email Address: For receiving your approved visa.
  5. A Valid Bank Card: For payment purposes.

Transit Visa

In addition to the single-entry tourist visa requirements, you will also need:

Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa

For a multiple-entry visa, provide the following additional documentation:

  • An Explanatory Letter: Outlining the purpose of your multiple stays.

East African Visa

For the East African visa, which includes Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda, you will need:
